Baking and cooking.

Christmas is around the corner and so the baking and cooking has started for me. 

For instance, the last day at work, I baked lasagnas for the teachers and personnel. 

But I didn't stop there, oh no! I baked a pumpkin pie (from scratch!) and brownies

Chocolate oatmeal no bake cookies! Not as pretty as the one in this recipe but they sure are tasty!

And vanilla bark, happened actually by mistake but very good nonetheless!

Should I stop or keep going?

What's for dinner???

I'm having baked potatoes and nope, I'm not using my brand new stove for many hours in this heat.
How am I gonna bake potatoes without the oven you ask?? Well, I'm gonna use my microwave and.....THIS:

5 minutes and I get to eat something behind yummy

A pinch of salt and pepper, a little bit of extra virgin oil and a sprinkle of parsley and voila', dinner is served!

And I thought you all might like it too, so I'm sharing what I've been up to lately...I'm growing my own sourdough!!

I bought the started from Yemoos and I've been delighted with all the recipes, instruction and support that I got with it.
I was even able to get a gluten-free version to meet my new diet needs with plenty info about how to go with it....I'm amazed and thrilled!
I must confess I can bake wonderful cakes and cupcakes, but I literally suck at baking cookies or bread, so I was very skeptical about it. But the started is growing and doing great and I will start my baking soon!
I swear, I will try to take pictures with you all to see before it's all gone LOL
