Back from Pensacola

Just in case I will not be able to blog for the next days, let me just wish you all a
Merry Christmas!!!

We went to Pensacola yesterday to get Gabriel to his neurologist appointment and were able to get an EEG done, that didn't show anything abnormal going on with his brain....phewww.
With that news, I informed the doc that this will be our last visit since in a year of his care he really wasn't able to tell us much more of what we already knew and all the solution he proposed failed. Plus, our insurance copay went up to $50 and we just can't afford to go back and forward is nothing is really going to happen.
But I was happy that my little boy was able to go through and have the EEG done, I think it was thank to hubby that was there, I decided to leave the room 'cause last time I had Gabriel kicking and screaming and was too hard for me to watch.

When we were all done with the doc, Gabriel gets in the car ans says: "I think I did a good job to the doctor, so now I deserve some chicken nuggets and to go play in the playground".
So, mommy and daddy brought him in total amazement.
And there they are, posing for mommy while I was taking pictures of how much fun they were having.

Up on the slide.....

....then down! I love how my children stick together to each other while playing!

We had and amazing day and I hope the same was for you :)

When it rains, it pours!

I had to feature people, but I really couldn't this week! I will do it soon tho, don't you worry!
We just came from another visit from the neurologist for my so, Gabriel, with more news and less money...LOL
We will be trying a new medication on Gabriel and tomorrow I'll have an interesting day observing his behaviors. The doctor said the effect can be seen from the first pill, so I better watch out. We can even see him improving right away, stay the same (and so we'll need more tests) or having a bad reaction to this new med. I'm preparing for the worst while I'm praying for the best :)
We also went to his school to let the teacher know what's going on and that Gabriel will miss few days since I need to watch him closely. She's a real sweetheart, they implement a "card" system for Gabriel with pictures with the different activities he does during his school day and he was so proud to show me that! He's definitely improving! I just wish I knew what I can be doing better.
Plus, my best friend Michele at Sweet Irie is having surgery tomorrow and I really wish I could help her some how! I love you sista!
To adds up, my air conditioning system is giving me troubles, it's leaking on a plug-in wire and my house is so freaking hot that I can cook hamburgers over my counter (YIKES!) Did the rental department cared that it's so unsafe and send someone right away????? hhmmmmm NO! 'Cause when it rains, it pours!
