Few weeks ago, I stumbled upon some very inspirational work that I want to share with you all.
it all started with the picture above.

I think it's the coolest 3D sidewalk painting in history in my opinion.
With a little bit of research, I was able to find a video on youtube where they show how they make it.....simply amazing!

Truly inspirations isn't it?

What I've been working on

As many crafters, I have many projects laying around and personally I have the habits to start 2 0r 3 at the same time, so I can switch from one to other when I get bored (rarely lol)
My last completed project was assigned to me from my mother-in-law.
She bought me the pattern and all the necessary supplies to make a 4th of July outfit for my daughter Michelle.

I know it's a bit early for the 4th of July, but the colors of the outfit fits the Memorial day as well, so I saw it fitting.
Plus I really couldn't wait to show it to you....and neither could she! Do you think she likes it?

The dress is basically a t-shirt with trims and comes with a matching shoulder bags that made my daughter feels like a grown-up.
The details includes a white star applique on the front left (the side of the heart) and I used the same star design to make a hair clip since she likes to have her hair up.

I'm considering offering the design for sale in my shop, what do you think?
I see a very simple white T-shirt spiced up with bright orange and hot pink for summer times or a pink and brow theme for a....well a cupcake! lol

The rapture

Have you heard?
Tomorrow (well actually in 2 hours lol) should be some kind of end of the world or the new Messiah coming to punish the bad people.
Hare you ready?
I'm not sure what to be ready for.
I know some people hurried up to put their affairs in order or do a last act of redemption....
Personally, I don't think it matter, 'cause if the world ends nobody is going to to be there to "see" if you're affairs are in order lol
I do believe in another life after death, but in my opinion wouldn't really matter if you left all you inheritance to your lost cousin or what.

I plan to got to the post office tomorrow to mail out some items I traded for in the last trade event on Artfire, then go to work. And I do have plans for Sunday too, so I guess ultimately I'm saying that nothing will happen tomorrow.

But just in case, let me say that I love you all......

Trade event

The Spring Trade Event will begin on Friday May 20th starting at 2:00pm Central Standard Time in the afternoon and will break at 11:00pm until 9am on Saturday morning. At 9am we will start up again and go until 8pm Saturday night May 21st. During the break time, anyone and everyone can still trade their little hearts out but, it will be stated that from 11pm-9am some traders may be taking a break. REMINDER YOU CAN TRADE AT ANY TIME! Not only during events.

To have your shop added to the list you must complete a trade with one of the members on the starting list:

A story about fairness

There is 2 things that really piss me off.
The first one is people who lie and the second is things that are unfair.

This post in dedicate to my blog buddy Kayla from The Eclectic Element, that a while ago published a post that pissed me off since it's about unfairness and liars and injustice.

Some of my readers know that I do have some beef with how broken and unfair is the school system in the States, but this really takes the cake for me.

So, dear school superintends, supervisors, directors, senators and governors let me tell you something! We live in a country where education is a right, a HUMAN RIGHT. Well, students that are ill/with special needs are HUMAN....hello????????

Do you think they choose to be ill/with special needs? Do you think they enjoy to have to jump though hoops to get what's granted for people they are not ill/with special needs??? Let me answer than for you: NO, THEY DO NOT!

And for them and their families there are enough aggravation to go around for 4-5 lifetimes, so move your lazies a$es and fix the damn school system and stop bother people that are trying to better themselves for a chance. STOP eating the money for your paycheck and giving people with already hard times more crap to add the pile.

House warming gifts Part I

You know what's the best part of moving?

Well, after the packing, organizing, loading and unloading, put back together and all.....my favorite part is house warming gifts!

The first one I got it in the middle of the move from Kayla, my blog buddy from The Eclectic Element.
She sent the most sweet note book with cupcakes all over the cover that came to me beautifully wrapped in a ribbon with a pencil to go with it.

It really helped writing down all the things that I needed to remember during the move to keep my sanity!!

So, thank you Kayla!

And in the background of the picture, you can get a glimpse of the surprise I got her for Easter. You can read all about it in her blog post.

Rest in peace LadyHawk

Some of you might remember me posting about a very ill lady on ArtFire few months back, Lady Hawk.

It's with the heart filled with sorrow that I got to know yesterday that she passed away the day after Easter.

All she wanted was to get to see spring and then fly away as a butterfly.

Even tho I know that wherever she's now, she's in peace and no suffering, my heart swell at the thought of not seeing her posts in the ArtFire forums anymore.

This post is dedicated to you, Jean Love, as many of us use to call you. Might you rest in peace and bless us all from up there.
