Mamavation Monday Week #2

This is my second week and my second post for the Mamavation Sistahood and as you can see I lost 0.5 lb. I was 140 lb last week and now the scale reads 139.5 lb, black on grey!

I must admit I was really surprised, wasn't able to be constant on my water and waking goals. But I also know whatever effort I made, was certainly more than usual, and evidently enough to make a little difference.
I know that I will always be able to find excuses, loose the focus and motivation, but I will try to remember that it's possible and I can do it!!

Now onto to work harder to loose more of at least keep this 0.5 lb off :)

Mamavation Monday

As I explained in my previous post, I'm going to "try" to get fit and in order to do that, there some things that are going to change.

I'm going to pledge to the Mamavation Sistahood, so every Monday I will make a post about health/weight/struggle updates.

The Cupcake Monday Find posts will still be active, bu will be taken place on my Artfire blog.

So I went to pick up the scale and weight myself.....haven't done in years and was a bit scared, but.....voila'!

Yup, it does read 140 lb and I'm only 5 feet tall. eeeek

I used to be 125 lb before kids. I've never been skinny, always a curvy girl and I guess it's ok. But now I'm starting to feel slightly unhealthy.

I sit around a lot and I want to change that. I want to be able to keep up with my children when we play at the playgrounds. So, as I said, one on my new year resolution is to walk at least 30 min per day EVERY day.

I used to drink 2 or more liters of water per day. My skin, my hair were gorgeous. Now I barely finish 1 glass, all the rest is coffee. That's gonna change too. Less coffee and more water. I will need to start tracking down how much water I drink, seriously.

Would be nice if I could kick off 1 lb/month and end up with 130 lb at the end of the year, but I did diet before and I know it can be hard.

But I thought better starting now, at least will avoid gaining more and end up with serious problems, right?

Talk you next Monday :)
