Influenster Vox Box

Had the pleasure to receive the so coveted purple box in the mail few days ago: the Influenster Vox Box!
Full of wonderful goodies......what a blessing to be able to try them!
Here they are in all their splendor.....well, almost all of them!
As you can see from the wrapper, the first thing I "used" was the new Tastykake Kandy Bar kakes.

Now, I have few excuses for devouring the whole thing at first sight without taking pictures of it or sharing it with anyone.....like, I got the box out of my mail box on a late Saturday afternoon after cleaning condos on the beach all day long, I was hungry, thirsty, tired and with no willing to cook myself anything, completely vulnerable.....XO

Truth is that it was a delicious chocolate care, made with Hershey cocoa. It smelled fantastic when I opened the wrapper and let me tell you: it was soft like if it was freshly baked that very day! 60 g of pure goodness of a chocolate covered cake with a creamy filling.....Yummy in a wrapper for 260 calories. Even with a person like me that is watching what I eat, it is totally worth it to include this snack in!! Definitely gonna find the closer distributor and stock up on those!

The second product to come out of the Influenster Vox Box was the clear gel deodorant by Secret. It came in just in time as I was running out of my deodorant and was contemplating choosing a different brand from the one I was using as I was having problem with discoloration of my clothes in the underarm area. I usually prefer roll-on to the clear gel, but the Secret was a pleasant surprise ad it dries pretty quickly so it doesn't wet your clothes.
I also was very thrilled that when I removed to cap, there was a protective paper slip on the top, a seal to assure the customer that the product is new and never been used before you. I don't know about you, but I always wonder when I buy deodorant at the store that someone before me might have tried on and put it back on the shelf.....eeeeewwwwwwwwwww! But it happens believe me! With the seal on the Secret deodorant, there is no doubts! So, thank you Secret for that!
The claim that it last for 48 hours it also absolutely true! I live in Florida and it's already in the 90's here, believe me: perspiration occurs wayyyyyy too much! This product surely helps with odors and keep the area clean, so Secret: thank you for that as well! I will never go back to a generic roll on again, the Secret definitely wins my vote!

Also very impressed with the NYC Applelicious Glossy lip balm. I
don't wear make up often, but when I do, I really have a hard time finding a lip color that I like for everyday use.
When I opened with lip gloss, I noticed that it was called big apple red so I immediately thought "Here we go again, it's going to be a bright red that it's going to look hideous against my white complexion" :(
But I couldn't be more wrong then that! This lip gloss gently tint my lips on a nice shade of red that it's not over the top and it's magnificent for my everyday make up style!
I think it's because is basically 2 lip glosses in one with the outer layer in red and the orange center.....that is shaped like an apple, can you see??
I guess that's why the shade of red is so pretty and particular, rich but not too dark, plus is shiny! Even bigger plus: it smells like a real apple....puts me on a good mood every time!
It definitely has a spot in my purse every day, so I can quickly put it on to retouch my lips.

The other 2 products in the box were a press-on manicure set form imPRESS Broadway nails and a OSIS+ hair gel that I haven't had the chance to try yet.
I want to try the press on nails so bad but for the whole summer I will be cleaning condos like there is no tomorrow and I don't wanna waste them, I'd like to use them for a very special occasion instead.
The hair gel really isn't my thing as I never found a gel that looks good on me, but I swear I will give it a try. Eventually!

New favorite snacks

I was weighting my self again and noticed that I'm still under 145 lb so, I'm happy about that. I still get the munchies from time to time and I found my self hooked some Chex trail mix and wanted to share.

The chocolate turtle mix is definitely a favorite now:

I recently found a limited edition mix called "Cocoa" with marshmallows.....YUM

Can't find a picture on line, so I had to take a photo of the {almost empty} package I have home.

It's a limited edition that will around only for the holidays, so they will be gone soon and I will be sad soon.......oh well! Such is life!

I was drawn by Chex in the first place because is one of the few company that has gluten-free cereal that you can easily find at the grocery store and won't cost an arm and a leg.

Even tho the mixes I'm currently eating are not gluten free, I noticed that as long as I eat the recommended serving size, it doesn't bother my tummy.

They keep my need of chocolate satisfied without breaking my weight loss plans: win-win.

Favorite snacks

I know that I started a journey of eating healthier and exercising everyday, but still, I have few weakness and I'd love to introduce my friends to it!
Ready? Set....GO!

First on the list: Chocolate Cheerios

I've never been a fan of cheerios, I usually prefer granola cereals, but when they came up with the chocolate ones??? Well, I had to try them and I loved them ever since.

Even better tho, the Dulce de Leche Cheerios: a hint of caramel and infinite goodness!!!

Kellogg's cereal also nailed when they came up with the Chocolate and Double chocolate Krave: like the name says, you will crave them!

Last but no least, chocolate animal crackers......Do I need to say more????

Enjoy these yummies :)

Featuring: Fig Tree Boutique

Snack Bag Set ReUsable Eco Friendly Kitty in Paris, $5 by Fig Tree Boutique

I had the pleasure of working out a very nice trade with Elaine, the owner of the Fig Tree Boutique.
I was in need for some nice sandwich and snack bags since my kids use them in their lunch boxes at school and I was sick to buy and toss away the plastic ones.
So, one day while I was thinking to start sewing my own, I came across the Fig Tree Boutique on twitter and Elaine graciously agreed to trade with me....YAY Double score!
So my daughter Michelle got the pink ones above while Gabriel got some with a superhero fabric that he fell in love with!

So we put them to good use and that's what I have to say about them: LOVE THEM!!!
If someone is in the market for sandwich and snack bags, I will definitely recommend them!

Elaine craftsmanship is really nice, the stitches very accurate. In the sets that I got for my kids the bags have different sizes: 6 1/2" wide by 4 1/2" deep for the large bag enough for a little sandwich and 6 1/4" wide X 4" deep on the small bag with plenty room for sliced fruit, crackers, cookies or cereals with a turn flap for closure that insure nothing will spill out. And the best part of all: the inside is lined with no rip nylon with sealed seams, so the crumbs don't get stuck but come off easily with a shake and I can just wipe them off to clean or wash them in the washer if they're really dirty.

I think this is every mom dream! Funny prints for little ones, easy to clean and eco-friendly for Mother Earth.....so I need to say more????

Go visit Fig Tree Boutique and get your own!
