What I got for my birthday!!!

As you might know, the past Saturday was my birthday and I got some nice presents that I'd looooooooooove to share with you!!
Cupcake mold
Key necklace
The first thing that came in the mail was the new and sweet cupcake mold from Shop Sakura: I was drooling over it for few days and Fiona was so kind to send it to me and me and my daughter Michelle already put it a good use XO

And than just yesterday I found the most delicate and precious key necklace from Simag!!! I was so impressed by the workman ship and even the package was just too sweet for words.....
They really spoiled me!

But the surprises aren't over!!!!
My bestie Michele at Sweet Irie gifted me with the sweetest treasury

My blog buddy Kayla gave me a shout out/birthday wished on her blog, The Eclectic Element

Also, my friend Kim from Vabeachquilter purchased from me and blogged about it!!!

And I also got some clothes, a cord cam (YAY!!!) and I was able to talk via phone and via cam with my folks in Italy, which it's always really nice!!!

Not bad, uh?

I'll leave you reminding that it's last day to enter the Pieces of me Pendants giveaway

I leave you with a fun fact: Do you know that Father's Day has different date celebration around the world? In Italy for instance, we celebrate it March the 19th for the celebration of Saint Joseph, the father of Jesus.
Thought was worth sharing that in another corner of the world, we celebrate pretty much 3 months ago :)

Randomness Saturdays

Oh boy, was it a strange week? But here we're to another Saturday.

♥ I want to start asking you for praying for my FIL: he had a minor heart attack and when brought to the hospital they found out that he has a bad case of lung pleurisy. He seems to be doing better and will be probably be out of the hospital by tomorrow afternoon, but still, we're pretty worried.

♥ I had some personal issues that really scared me and I want to thank everyone for the kind words and support. It seems that the case is closed and hopefully it's everything behind us.

♥ Now I have a series of people to thank for featuring me so here it goes.
I scored another mention on the Handmade Highway blog thanks to Alecia Miller of Madbird that put together a collection of teacher gift. Since school is almost over, you might be interested in checking this out :)

♥ My birthday cupcake was included in a very awesome treasury: 'Nothing' ever looked so good by LilliputLoft. THANK YOU, I'm honored!

♥ Anne from Made For Me By Oaklie let me know that our common friend Kim from vabeachquilter choose my flower cupcake for her collection in the Yummy Great Finds. I was amazed by the beauties over there!!! There is a little poll on the left bar where you can vote the best item.....I dare you to pick one to vote for!!! LOL

♥ And the sweetest Karolina posted about my cupcake hat on her blog in a post about food inspired items and I was amazed to discover that the blog is in a foreign language. I'm not sure what is it, I'm guessing if Russian, but there is a Google translator on the right bar in case you want to understand what she saying :) THANKS KAROLINA!!

♥ Last thing I want to say and then I have to run, because the kids are calling me.... I'm now donating 10% of my profit to the oil spill victims.....the situation is pretty bad! I'm trying to put together some promotional material about this case and hopefully I will have a post about this soon.
In the meanwhile, if you'd like to donate too and are not sure how to go about it, consider donating your items or purchasing from HelpTheGulfCoast

Hope you're having a great week end!! Until next time....

Monday cupcake Find

A little bit late, since I'm still recovering, But I lurked at the shop of my friend Kim on facebook and I couldn't resist.
This Monday I'm going to introduce vabeachquilter and her toddler totes!

Toddler Tote

Toddler Tote, $16.95 by
vabeachquilter

What a cute tote for a little girl!

Makes a great gift. Now your little sweetie can have her own tote...just like Mommy's!

Tote measures approx. 6" w x 5" h x 3" d.

It should be spot cleaned and air dried. The tops are attached by fabric glue and might come off it soaked in water or put into a dryer.

If, for some reason, they do come undone, reattach with fabric glue and let air dry.

NOTE: There are no removeable small parts, so this is a great tote for girls under 3. The handle was sewn with a triple seam and will not come unattached.

If it looks like a cupcake, it shaped like one and is colored like one....well must be a CUPCAKE no matter how Kim calls them!
